Samer Lahoud graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Saint Joseph University, Beirut, in 2002. In 2006, he received the Ph.D degree in computer science from Telecom Bretagne, Rennes. After his Ph.D. he spent one year with Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs Europe working as a research engineer. Since 2007, he has been with the University of Rennes I, where he is working as an assistant professor, and with IRISA of Rennes, where he is taking part in the research activities. His main research activity is in network design, combinatorial optimization and engineering algorithms for communication networks. He has been involved in many research programs at the national and the European level. |
